Controversial socialite, entrepreneur, and reality TV star Vera Sidika has shared her wish to draw closer to God this year because she has not set foot in church in years.

Sharing on her socials, Vera cried over how her 'celebrity status' had seen her slowly stop going to church as she could not deal with all the attention. Interestingly, Vera went on to ask Instagram users to suggest a church that she might attend without distractions.

"I have not been to church in ages... Damn!" Started the mother of 2.

Vera went on to note despite her not setting foot in a building to listen to sermons and praise and worship with others she was very much still a Christian.

She argued that she follows the scriptures and plays her part as asked to in the bible.

The Real Housewives of Nairobi star went on to reveal that the main reason she has not been to church is because of her fame.

"I am a believer, I pray and do my part as a Christian but damn it is so hard going to church. Too much attention!" Lamented the socialite as she accompanied the post with a wailing emoji.

Finally, she asked her fans and followers to give her suggestions of churches she could go to preferably in the posh suburbs of Karen as she wanted to reconnect with the church.

Quite ironic if you ask me. How are you going to complain about attention then (as if Google and neighbours don't exist) go online to ask fans, "Where do you all think I should go?" Uhm... what happened to too much attention, ma'am?
