Linet Munyali aka Size 8 has opened up about how money and fame made her lose true friendship.
Mama Wambo said in just three years, she was at the peak of her career having released the biggest club bangers.
In a recent interview, she said that she learnt that money wasn't everything.
"Pesa sio kila kitu, because when I got money and fame, I lost true love, I lost peace. People didn't love me for me. I got stressed and I'd drink a certain brand of alcohol."
"My real friends became jealous, and fake friends became even more jealous and I started drinking every day and at some point, I'd find myself in the club alone in the morning."
Size 8 added that if she didn't turn a new leaf at the time, she would either have been a drug addict or dead.
"That world is very lonely. Many people like me but how many love me?"
Size 8 however thought that she would not make it in the gospel music industry even when she had turned a new leaf.
"I had even started a business for backup if music doesn't go well."
Size 8's biggest challenge was sickness "I was suffering from migraines and high blood pressure. At some point, I went on the low key. We go through stuff to discipline us."
"I've lost two babies from that high blood pressure."
