"Sitaki": Stevo Simple Boy Rules Out Collab with Willy Paul, Bahati After Latest Songs

Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has stated that he would not do a music collabo with Willy Paul or Bahati after the release of their two new songs in January 2025.

Speaking during an online interview, Stevo Simple Boy said he would not do a collabo with either of them until they redo their two latest songs which he found underwhelming.

“The video is good, but the songs lack message. I cannot do a collabo with them until they renew the songs that they have sung together, and sing them properly,” stated Simple Boy.

Stevo Simple Boy expresses disappointment with the songs

According to Simple Boy, Willy Paul and Bahati released the songs just for the sake of it as the two songs lack meaning.

He also stated that the two songs are below the two artists’ caliber.

“I listened to the two songs, and I am disappointed. The two songs lack the theme we associate Willy Paul and Bahati with, and they just sung for the sake of it,” added the rapper.

Bahati and Willy Paul released two new songs on January 31, 2025, titled ‘Paah’ and ‘Keki’.  The two hits have emerged as the top two among the top ten songs currently trending on YouTube.

The songs have been the subject of ridicule from other people in the entertainment industry.

Popular producer, Vance On The Beat while reacting to the songs criticized the artists expressing his disappointment at the much-anticipated collabo.

“After all that hype, this is the track you have decided that we should listen to? I do not have much to say. At this point, I do not blame the producer, I blame the artist,” stated the producer.

Paul and Bahati, who have been long-time rivals, hyped the debut of their first collaboration on social media.

“Two kings, two songs, Double Trouble. Both songs are dropping tomorrow at exactly 10 am. Tell your favorite artists to hold their releases. Doing it for the Kenyan music industry. Let us get our shine back. This is the time bro one love,” stated Willy Paul.
