Police in Buru Buru are investigating the mysterious death of a Grade 8 pupil at Joy Gardens Primary Tena-Umoja in Nairobi.
According to the family of the deceased boy, the school management informed them that their 13-year-old son fell from the seventh floor of the school building at around 6 pm on Friday.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited the school on Saturday to obtain CCTV footage while seeking to establish events to the boy's death.
The boy's family discounted the school management's narrative claiming that they suspect foul play.
Two directors, the headteacher, and a teacher at the school have since been summoned to Buru Buru police station to record a statement on the incident.
The body of the deceased was moved to Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary.
