Gospel singer Shiru Wa GP has revealed that the late Betty Bayo’s ambassador contract under Sarah Mtalii’s company will continue even after the singer’s death, ensuring her young family remains financially supported.
In a statement shared on her Facebook page on Saturday, November 15, 2025, Shiru disclosed that a meeting held between herself, company CEO Sarah Mtalii, and lawyer Mwenda Njagi resulted in an agreement that Betty’s contract will not be terminated despite her sudden passing.
“Betty Bayo was a Brand Ambassador at Virtuous Explorers. Following yesterday’s meeting with Virtuous Explorers CEO Sarah Mtalii and Wakili Mwenda Njagi, it was agreed that Betty Bayo’s contract with Virtuous Explorers will continue even after Betty’s sudden demise,” Shiru wrote.
The ‘Mugaruri’ hitmaker explained that Betty, who served as a brand ambassador for the company, had built a strong professional relationship with Mtalii, who has now committed to extending the contract in honour of the late gospel minister.
According to Shiru, once Betty Bayo is laid to rest, her widower Tash and Pastor Kanyari, who is Betty’s former husband and father of her two children, will sit down with the company to negotiate a new contract extension.
She noted that the intention behind the renewed deal is to ensure continued income flow for Sky Victor and Dany, the children Betty leaves behind.
“After we lay our sister Betty Bayo, thereafter, Tash and Pastor Kanyari will meet with Virtuous Explorers to negotiate a new contract extension for Sky Victor in honor of Betty Bayo, which will secure Sky Victor’s and Dany’s future,” Shiru added.
Shiru then thanked Mtalii for the gesture, describing it as an act of compassion that will secure the future of the young family during an emotionally and financially difficult period.
“Thank you very much for this, Sarah Mtalii, and may God bless you abundantly,” Shiru said.
Custody fears
The clarification shared by Shiru has eased rising tension among Pastor Kanyari’s fans, especially after the same photo she posted online showed Hiram and lawyer Mwenda Njagi in what appeared to be a formal consultative meeting.

The image had sparked intense speculation across social platforms, with many netizens suggesting that Tash might have approached the lawyer to pursue custody of Betty’s children or to seek broader control over family matters following her passing.
Shiru’s explanation has now put those rumours to rest, reassuring supporters that the meeting was strictly focused on securing the continuation of Betty’s ambassadorial contract and safeguarding her children’s welfare.
