The Kenyan entertainment industry is again in mourning following the sudden death of top Kenyan DJ Skratch1.
The DJ has been mourned by several celebrities from the Kenyan music industry – many are still in disbelief over his untimely death. The cause of his death is yet to be made public.
Legendary Kenyan singer and songwriter Kenzo Matata mourned the DJ with a message that read;
“Rest well bro, till we meet again, @djskratch1, wah! Life is short, remember to check on your friends before it’s too late, especially men! Until we meet again rest well brother.. Jah knows,”.
US-based Kenyan musician Nonini wrote;
"Last December was in just testing the ground for an upcoming Tour we were planning together end of this year! Beste yangu @djskratch1 didn't tell me this will be our last rodeo heading out 2Kericho! We have done this Entertainment thing for years tangu enzi za Rezorous Westy.".
