Mugithi artist Samidoh has advised men to work hard to be able to provide for their women.
According to Samidoh, a woman's value in society doesn't change because she cannot provide.
However, a man's worth is measured by what he has.
"A broke woman is still a woman. An educated woman is still a woman. A woman who can't provide is still a woman. And she gets all the respect she deserves.
But a man without these things is a burden even to his family. Being strong as a man is the only choice. No one cares," he shared.
In 2023 Samidoh shut off a fan insinuating he is kept by his baby mama Karen Nyamu.
One fan took to social media to try and embarrass the artist pointing out?
"Na wengine hapa tu wanasema umeekwa," the fan wrote.
Samidoh responded saying he is no longer kept, urging the fan to go and occupy the 'vacancy'
"Nilitoka sasa endeni muwekwe pia."
The assumption that Samidoh is kept is because he is dating a Nominated Senator.
A section of Kenyans assume Karen makes more money that the singer does which might not be the case.
