Nelson Amenya Exposes Secret USA, Kenya Health Security Deal

Nelson Amenya, the whistleblower who exposed the controversial Adani deal, is back again with another explosive exposé, this time around regarding the government's alleged deal with the United States.
Amenya, on Tuesday, December 2, alleged a plot by the Kenyan government to sign a 25-year health security agreement with President Donald Trump's administration.
According to Amenya, the agreement would grant the US government real-time access to all Kenyan health records.
"It will give the US government real-time access to all Kenyan health records, including your HIV status, TB treatment, your children's vaccination records - everything," Amenya alleged.

He claimed that, under the proposed agreement, disease specimens obtained from Kenyan patients would be shared with around ten US pharmaceutical companies.
Amenya also highlighted a clause in the agreement stating that it would be governed by US federal law. Amenya claims that this clause would limit the application of Kenyan laws in the event of a breach of data.
"Your data protection rights simply don't exist under this agreement. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner becomes completely powerless to protect you," he added.
While describing the alleged agreement as unconstitutional, he noted that the proposal contravenes the Kenya Data Protection Act, the Health Act and the Digital Health Act.
He noted that Trump's administration would be able to get a 24-hour system access to Kenya's national health databases and the right to conduct random audits of 5 per cent of health facilities at their discretion.
Likewise, the US will get free and fast access to disease specimens from the country for vaccine development, with zero guaranteed benefits for Kenya for the next 25 years.
"We are talking about the medical privacy of 50+ million Kenyans being handed over to a foreign government under foreign law," he commented.
Amenya also sensationally claimed that should President Ruto's administration decline to comply with the agreement, then Kenya would be subjected to heavy funding cuts.
