Mulamwah Speaks After Reuniting With His Ex Carrol Sonie & Daughter
Comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, and his ex-partner, Carrol Sonie, on Sunday, 14 December, shared moments from a family meetup with their daughter, marking a visible step towards co-parenting after a public, sometimes strained relationship.
The reunion was documented through photos and heartfelt social media posts from the comedian, showcasing a Sunday spent together with their young daughter, Keilah.
The Sunny Sunday Meetup
The photographs captured the trio enjoying an outing at an outdoor venue, complete with lush green hedges and a children's bouncy castle visible in the background.
Mulamwah and Carrol Sonie were pictured sitting together at a table, with their daughter, wearing a pink dress and braids with pink highlights, playfully reaching out to them.
In another warm moment, the daughter is seen beaming as Mulamwah presents her with a bouquet of red and white roses.
Additional images showed Mulamwah and his daughter posing together, flashing peace signs, with the child in bright pink swimwear next to a swimming pool regulation sign.
Mulamwah’s Emotional Message
Following the meetup, Mulamwah took to social media to share his feelings about the day. His captions expressed happiness and gratitude for the time spent with his family.
On one post, he wrote: "All I can say is asante Mungu. We clicked.”
He also confirmed an interview took place with his daughter's mother, adding: "Had an amazing day, God is great. We are grateful for the far we’ve come. Thank you, Mama K, for the time & great interview too."
Highlighting the fun nature of the day, he captioned another photo with his daughter: "Weekend with the queen. Leo nimeongea kizungu proper."
The Complex History
Mulamwah and Carrol Sonie first separated publicly in October 2021. Sonie confirmed the split on social media, wishing Mulamwah the best after four years together.
However, the separation soon turned controversial as both parties aired grievances publicly.
Mulamwah claimed that the split was due to a difference in financial decisions, stating that Sonie wanted a posher lifestyle than he was willing to fund.

Sonie, on the other hand, made serious allegations against the comedian. She hinted at deeper issues in the relationship and, in a later emotional interview, alleged that Mulamwah’s actions had caused her miscarriage.
Mulamwah denied these claims. The comedian also revealed a strained relationship with their daughter, Keilah, lamenting that he was denied access to her after she was four months old.
The current reunion marks a visible attempt to move past the public disputes and focus on their child.
