
MP Beatrice Elachi's Son Elvis Murakana Dies

Elvis Murakana, the son of Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi, is dead.
Murakana passed away on Tuesday, March 25, after reportedly succumbing to injuries sustained during a grisly road accident.
The deceased had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and was receiving treatment until his passing.
President William Ruto led fellow leaders in sending out a condolence message to Elachi on the evening of Tuesday.

“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,” Ruto stated.

The Orange Democratic Party, which sponsored Elachi to the Dagoretti North seat, also sent out their commiserations.
“May God grant Hon. Beatrice Elachi (MP, Dagoretti North) and her family the fortitude and strength to overcome the pain of losing her son Elvis Murakana Namenya. It is such a huge loss to Mheshimiwa. As a party we stand with her during this difficult moment of mourning and grief,” ODM stated in a statement.
Busia county woman representative Catherine Omanyo was also part of the leaders who condoled with Elachi.
"My heart goes out to Hon. Beatrice Elachi and her family following the tragic loss of their son. On behalf of my family and the people of Busia County, I extend my deepest condolences. Pole sana," she consoled.
Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai also consoled Elachi.
“It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana,” Alai stated.

“As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time,” he added.
