Man U fan in Kenya hospitalised after he collapsed while attempting to eat a whole tray of boiled eggs

A Manchester United fan in Eldoret was rushed to hospital after he tried to eat a tray of boiled eggs, after placing a bet with his Arsenal friends.

Thomas Kiptanui Kemboi, popularly known as Kapkeno, had entered into a challenge with his friends who are Arsenal fans over the weekend when the two teams clashed at the Emirates.

Kapkeno had vowed to eat a whole tray of boiled eggs if Man Utd lost to Arsenal, and when indeed they lost, he embarked on eating the boiled eggs.

In the video, his friends to whom he had lost the best, could be seen cheering him on as he consumed one egg after another, taking breaks to drink water.

However, when he was on the 15th egg, Kapkeno collapsed, with the friends laughing thinking it was a stunt.

But things quickly turned ugly when they realised he had been overwhelmed.

They rushed him to hospital where he was diagnosed with constipation.

Kapkeno was put on medication and later discharged after he stabilised.

"One minute I was energetic and ready to complete the challenge before me and the next moment I was in hospital with an IV drip on my hand. I was diagnosed with constipation and was injected with three IV fluids. I am grateful that I am now doing well," Kapkeno said as quoted by the Standard.

Manchester United lost 3-1 to Arsenal in an entertaining encounter. The Red Devils thought they had won the match when Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to second their second goal, only for VAR to rule it offside.
