Man bites baby mama's genitals for barring him from seeing son

A plumber will face trial next year after being charged with assault. He is accused of biting his child's mother while accusing her of barring him from seeing their son.

John Munyanzi is accused of intentionally and unlawfully assaulting M.W., a woman with whom he fathered a son, on August 28 at her home in Ruai, located in Njiru Sub-County. The two were reportedly in a relationship before parting ways. Reports suggest that M.W. had allegedly been denying Munyanzi access to their son, which triggered his actions, leading him to hide in the complainant's kitchen.

That evening, when the complainant arrived home from work and opened the gate, she was shocked to see the accused emerge from the kitchen.

He allegedly rained kicks and blows on her, strangling her until she fell to the ground. He then sat on her, telling her that her mother, with whom they lived in the same compound, should know that she had been seeing other men.

Munyanzi is accused of forcibly removing her trousers and proceeding to bite her in her private parts, prompting her to scream for her mother's help. The complainant’s mother intervened and separated them. Despite her mother’s pleas for Munyanzi to go inside the house to resolve the issue, he refused, claiming he didn't know who was inside the house.

The following day, the police were notified, leading to Munyanzi's arrest. He has since pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a cash bail of Sh30,000, pending mention of the case on February 11, 2025.
