Legendary radio personality Maina Kageni has aired his honest opinion on why he thinks most women are increasingly becoming independent.
Speaking on Maina and King'ang'i breakfast show, the radio host argued that women can still be stable without men.
He dismissed the notion that unmarried women beyond thirty years have an ethical issue.
He argued that no one is guaranteed happiness and loyalty in marriage.'' Leave your husband alone, your children might not be loyal when you get old.''
The Classic 105 radio presenter further stated that financial stability is not a problem for women lately.
''Ladies have enough to survive on their own. She can provide for herself,” he said.
He gave an example of single ladies who are happy with no intentions of getting married. “They are raising their children comfortably and fully enjoying their freedom,”.

Maina challenged the popular question of why everything about women is associated with men. “They believe that they are too self-aware to think women cannot live without them,” Maina added.
He guaranteed that women age gracefully, too. ''It is so funny when a man sees a woman in her 30s and thinks she is unhappy.''
Maina advised ladies that marriage is not an achievement or a flex, adding that they should only get into intimate relationships when they feel ready.

''Ladies should not be bound by the societal norm of getting married because you are old,” Maina stated.
The heated conversation went on, with the radio guru wondering why people take children as an investment for their 'sunset days.'
He also challenged the behavior of people getting kids when they are still young, hoping that they will help them when they are older.
He wrapped up the conversation by echoing one of his callers' ideas. The caller narrated that being single is feeling fulfilled and fully dedicated to yourself.
It also involves being happy within your means and being self-aware.
