Veteran entrepreneur Khalif Kairo has revealed the main reason why he doesn't have legal custody of his 6-year-old son.
Kairo introduced his son, aged 4 at the time, to the public in November last year. Captioning the post the 27-year-old recreational pilot wrote, "My son has been the realest G since day one. Shout out to that little brat wherever he is. Took this picture 4 years ago,"
It appears nothing much has changed since then and Kairo still doesn't share custody with his baby mama. Taking to his X page the car enthusiast opened up about the situation detailing that in the past he had tried filling for custody resulting in a court battle between him and his ex. Things didn't go smoothly and Kairo regretted ever going to court.
According to the businessman, the whole process was draining for him but worse of it all, it drained their toddler as well and ultimately that's what broke him. Kairo swore to never ever pull such a move again, opting to be content with providing for and watching his kid grow from a distance until he was of legal age.
"One thing I swore as a man I would never do again is go to court over child custody. I’d rather have razor blades and acid for breakfast. Those battles are harmful to the well-being of kids. Move on, avoid the drama, and focus on self-improvement," the Kai and Kairo Imports CEO wrote on his X feed.
