Digital creator and influencer Kendi Q has revealed that buying a Mercedes-Benz E250 was never part of her original plan.

Speaking during a TikTok live on Friday, November 21, 2025, she said she had been saving to purchase a Mazda Atenza, not a luxury Mercedes.

According to Kendi, she had been diligently saving with the intention of getting a specific Mazda Atenza she had already identified, one with a white interior and a sunroof.

But everything changed when she visited the car yard. After spotting the Mercedes-Benz E250, she felt drawn to it and ended up redirecting her savings toward the luxury vehicle, even though it had not been part of her initial plans.

She added that she normally saves with a set target in mind, but in this case, the unexpected encounter with the Mercedes convinced her to upgrade.

“I did save for it. But I was not saving for a Mercedes. I was going to buy a Mazda Atenza. I had spotted one really nice, white interior with, sunroof. But then I go to the yard, and saw the Mercedes, so I removed funds from savings, coz I usually save for a specific target,” Kendi Q stated.

Despite the unexpected turn, the TikTok dancer ended up getting herself a sleek 2018 Mercedes-Benz E250, a milestone she describes as the cherry on top of an already incredible year.

In a statement on Monday, November 17, 2025, Kendi expressed overwhelming gratitude, reflecting on her journey and the people who have supported her along the way.

“Oooh😭😭 It’s been a great year, and this is the cherry on top of my cake. I’m super grateful to God for guiding me throughout my daily endeavours,” she said.

Kendi also paid a heartfelt tribute to her parents, acknowledging how their early investment in her passions helped shape her success.

“Mom, Dad, those dance, modelling, and arts classes paid off. I wouldn’t have done this had you not believed in my talent and gifts,” she added.

She further celebrated her close circle of friends who constantly uplift her, recommend her for gigs, and speak positively on her behalf.

“My friends that support me in every little way, shikeni kimunju,” she said.

“My KQ Squad! Your love and support, online and physically, have been my daily fuel. Thank you for believing in the KendiQ movement!” she added.

Kendi highlighted the importance of having a supportive partner, calling it an underrated blessing that has helped her thrive.

“Having a positive partner and environment is such a flex. I’m surrounded by so much love and support in all my jobs, activities, and businesses,” she said.
