Karen Nyamu blasted for flouting traffic rules
Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, recorded a video showing her driver using the wrong side of the road and flouting traffic rules at a roundabout.
The video in question has landed the Senator in trouble - attracting a heavy backlash from Kenyans
In the video shared by @cbs_ke on X formerly Twitter, Karen's driver can be seen driving against the flow of traffic forcing other vehicles to give way.
Nyamu seems to be enjoying the reckless act, as she is heard saying in the video.
"Ukiiba laima uibe na confidence," she said.
The mother three also tells her driver to "weka hazard" even as the man expresses concerns that they might cause an accident.
The video enraged many Kenyans who have since condemned Karen Nyamu for endangering the lives of other road users and recording the incident.
The presence of police at the scene who didn't do anything also didn't dwell well with Kenyans.
