Kamene Goro says they are still on experimental phase on the marriage with Dj Bonez
Former Kiss FM radio presenter opened up about her marriage to Dj Bonez during an episode she posted on her YouTube page.
"Now I've been married for like a year. I thought it would feel different, but not really. It's just like some long-drawn dating. We don't stop dating each other, and we've become friends, which is something you need to look out for," Kamene explained.
She then warned her fans about falling for any man out there and advised them on who they should look to date for marriage,
"Don't be falling for these ninjas you meet out here... That guy you put in the friend zone is probably gonna be the person you spend the rest of your life with. I'm just saying," she advised.
She finished by revealing that she was taking her relationship from day to day,
"But am still in the experimental phase so we are gonna walk through that stage one day at a time," she said.
Back in October 2020, Kamene opened up about how her first marriage with a Tanzania-based South African tycoon ended.
Kamene recounted quitting her job at Ebru TV in 2014 to move to Tanzania and become a housewife for her husband.
She had just started her TV career when she met the love of her life, who lived in another country. She gave her employer two days' notice, left her job, and settled in Tanzania at the age of 23/24 to be with him.
Kamene was happy and passionate about being his wife. However, the marriage lasted only a year before her husband dumped her over the phone while she was visiting family in Nairobi.
She reflected on the tough end of the relationship, feeling betrayed after sacrificing her job and dreams. Kamene stressed the importance of normalizing heartbreak and failure, as they are part of life and can lead to success.
