Kakamega: Sad as a Man Cries Out for Help After His Wife Dumps Him for His Younger Brother Just Because He Has a Motorbike!
In the small town of Kakamega, Kenya, a 56-year-old man named Simon Murefu Muyeho is grappling with the emotional turmoil of his wife, Farida, who dumped him for his younger brother.
The situation has left Muyeho devastated, and he is now faced with the daunting task of raising their seven children on his own.
Muyeho revealed that his younger brother, who happens to own a motorcycle, became close to Farida by providing her with transportation services.
What began as a simple act of kindness transformed into a clandestine affair, culminating in Farida and Muyeho’s brother moving in together.
In his desperate pursuit to salvage his marriage, Muyeho confronted his brother, pleading for the return of his wife. However, his appeals fell on deaf ears as his brother adamantly refused.
Determined not to surrender to despair, Muyeho contemplates involving local authorities to mediate the dispute.
“I followed the matter up, telling my brother to bring back my wife, but he refused. However, I will never give up on my wife. If this continues, I will even go to the local authorities to solve our problem,” the Kenyan father told Afrimax English.
Farida, a former businesswoman, provides her perspective on the troubled marriage. She alleges that Muyeho was abusive, recounting instances of physical violence that left her physically challenged.
“He was violent. He could beat me each and every time he came from work. He was a gatekeeper and would come back home in the morning having smoked and drunk. He almost killed me, but I survived, as he assumed I cheated on him.” She said.
Farida further claims that hunger was a constant companion, painting a picture of Muyeho as an irresponsible man.
He burned me and broke my arm. That is why I am physically challenged. We could sleep hungry except when I could try my best and find what to eat. He was an irresponsible man,” the mum of seven said.
The plot thickens as Farida asserts that Muyeho barred their children from seeing her after she decided to live with his younger brother.
Her reasons for leaving are rooted in her new partner’s ability to provide a more caring and understanding environment.
