Kajiado: Shock as Kiserian Woman is stabbed to Death, Her Body Set Ablaze
Security remains tense in Kiserian, Kajiado County, following a wave of rape and murder incidents reported in recent weeks.
In the latest case, a 45-year-old woman, identified as Naomi Wambui, was found murdered and burnt inside her house on Sunday. Her body bore multiple stab wounds and severe burns on different parts.
The body was taken to the Ngong mortuary as police launch investigations into the brutal killing.
Family members have called on security agencies to speed up investigations and ensure justice is served.
Kajiado County women’s representative, Leah Sankaire, condemned the rising cases of rape and femicide in the country, urging authorities to take tougher measures to curb violence against women.
