John Matara pleads not guilty after being charged with the murder of Starlet wahu
John Matara, the prime suspect in the murder of socialite Starlet Wahu, has been charged with murder following the completion of investigations.
Appearing before Milimani High Court Judge Kanyi Kimondo on Friday, Matara pleaded not guilty to the accusations presented in court.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is set to make an application to have Matara denied bail.
The case will come up for mention on February 26 when the DPP’s application to oppose release of Matara on bond will be heard.
The lifeless body of Starlet Wahu was discovered at an apartment in South B area last month.
