Days after announcing he is quitting his music career, Tanzanian singer Jay Melody has now deleted all his social media posts.
The singer did not mention in detail the reason behind his decision, leaving music fans feeling somewhat disheartened by the brief and unclear announcement.
All he wrote was "I quit music" with a grateful hand emoji.
It appears he could have heard fans asking for more details about his decision.
His Kenyan fanbase has been discussing it and he replied on his Instagram stories with a love message to the 254.
Even Kenyan artiste Okello Max commented about his sudden exit.
"I hope he’s okay, it gets dark sometimes, sending him love ❤️?? @realjaymelody"
Some fans have been sending him best wishes writing they extend to him good health and strength for his decision, as others commented that they hope he will be fine.
"Kenyans I LOVE YOU GUYS" he appeared to respond as he also shared with a peace sign emoji.
Melody's social media posts have always managed to bring a smile to the faces of his fans.
The love ballad singer has been sharing photos and videos of his musical moments, and what happens behind the scenes, plus teasing future collabos of projects he is excited to embark on.
This has shown that he works hard to entertain his fans.
