Eddy Kenzo looked back on the time he thumped Kasuku and realised he stands to be judged by his grandkids for his past actions.
"There was a time I fought with a journalist... I'm on record even my kids and grandkids will see it; but why?" said Kenzo who was speaking to Ruth Kalibbala on her YouTube channel.
Kalibbala: You regret it?
Kenzo: And I won't say I regret it now; it wasn't good. Your kids who would have seen you being recognised for your achievements, see you throwing a punch!
Kalibala: You threw a punch! All along I didn't know you can punch. I had known you for your football prowess [Kenzo used to be a professional footballer before joining music. Some of his hit songs like Sitya Loss came out when he was still playing for Sports Club Villa]. But when I saw you throwing a punch, I was like, all along we had a Tyson in Kenzo?
Kenzo: Mmmm... It happens.
Eddy Kenzo castigated some journalists for assuming the role of spreading malicious information about musicians. He claimed the media is the enemy of musicians and it has destroyed the industry.
Kalibbala reminded him that some artistes do things that subject them to media scrutiny. Eddy Kenzo beat Kasuku, whose real name is Isaac Katende, during a press conference the former had organised ahead of his 2014 show dubbed Sitya Loss, Nice and Lovely Concert.
During the conference held at Latfaz Comedy Club in Centenary Park, Kasuku, who is with Dembe FM, claimed that he had seen Kenzo paying a Star TV presenter not to play songs of Big Eye, formerly at Kenzo's Big Talent Entertainment. Kasuku said he saw the act while working with Star TV.
The allegation irked Kenzo who said he had been previously harassed by Kasuku and he struck him. Kenzo and Big Eye remain nemeses. Kasuku has also been punched a number of times by celebs while others have issued threats.
