33-year-old Mumias MP Peter Salasya has announced he will be practicing polygamy when he settles down.

The youthful parliamentarian defied the odds when he was elected without the traditional requirement fo a wife, a home,

"The people looked at me like a joker. So I had a serious assignment to prove I was serious. For you to make someone to believe in you is not a joke."

He prayed for wisdom and favor. Now two years after his victory, he has said that he is in the market for a wife.

Speaking to the YouTuber on his TV show, Salasya indicated he wants his mother for his success

"Definitely they feel good coz they know umepitia mashida, kuna tu vitu zingine unajua that maybe like they have gone through a lot now they are happy let them be happy, things are happening."

He was also asked when he intends to marry saying,

"I don't know. You know issue ya marriage pia ni ngumu unajua mimi bibi ambaye nataka, okay I am a polygamous person."

Obinna asked him how many how many wives he wants, "Nataka bibi watatu."

Salasya listed the qualities. They are below;

1. A woman who won't touch his phone

"Bibi ambaye hata aangalie kwa simu yangu, aniache tu. Akitaka kuwa peaceful, ni post tu vitu zangu asione vitu, asikuje kwa DM yangu aangalie oh, because me I know myself. I know how to control myself, "Aachane tu na mambo yangu asinichunge," he shared.

Obinaa sought clarity, "So you want a woman who will let you cheat peacefully?"

Salasya agreed, "Eh peacefully huyo ako sawa atakula chenye anataka, lakini kunipimia? na mu hepa."

2. Asikuwe violent

"I want someone who is not violent, nikiwa nimemkosea afadhali aninyamzie,"

Obinna asked, "Asikuweke makofi?" Salaysa agreed.

"Asiweke, asianze hiyo, unaelewa? asikuwe mtru vioelnt, kama nimekosa somebody anaweza nikalisha asinipigie kelele, coz niko na pressures mingi huko inje."

3. The woman must agree to live ushago.

"When I want to marry, number 1 asi ni pimie, aniwache tu freestyle, na pia akubali kukaa home. ye atulie asikuwe mtu violent."

4. She needs to know how to cook traditional food

"Kupika normal, not a poor cook per se, most important thing awachane tu na mimi,"

There is also a reason he wants 3 wives;

"Sasa hapa lakini nasema yani unaua kuna yule like.... I dont know maybe if I reach there tuone tukague, lakini kama atakuwa peaceful hivo ananiacha tu niende nifanye mambo yangu, na nirudi, huyo ako sawa kabisa.

Huyo hata siwezi kumwongeza mwingine, lakini akisumbua tutasema sas we kaa we tulia tu, bakio kaa nyumbani tuakumanage, nipatie mwenxako, nikichoka huko naenda huko."
