Content creator Mungai Eve has shared surprising updates about her relationship status.

In February 2024, Eve announced her breakup with her boyfriend of six years, Director Trevor. Since then, she has been focused on growing her brand.

During an interview with content creators Nebz and Nyathira on her show, Eve revealed some unexpected news about her love life.

Laughing, she said, “Hapa penye niko naona nitapelekewa. Lakini hapo pengine I think ni mimi ndio ningekuwa nimejitolea dowry yangu."

She explained that she might have paid her own dowry since she and Trevor worked closely and shared finances. "If we were making money together, it means I know everything," she added.

Eve also revealed that she is currently in a relationship that is nearing its one-year anniversary, which shocked her interviewees and viewers alike. Her breakup with Trevor was announced just a few months ago, raising questions about the timeline.

Eve addressed the concerns, saying, “I am not a third wheel. Right now, I’m about to hit one year with my current partner.”

In July 2024, Trevor, during a Q&A session with fans on Instagram, was asked why he left the relationship with Eve and allowed her to keep most of what they built together, except for the YouTube channel, Facebook account, and a few other items.

In March 2024, Eve opened up about the breakup when she hosted fellow content creator Andrew Kibe.

Without going into too much detail, she said, "I wouldn't want to talk much about it, but what I can say is, it's a whole lot of so many things. I knew it was coming. It was meant to come to an end."

When Kibe speculated, “I suspect you are the one who was cheating?” Eve responded, “You might be wrong or right.”
