Gloria Muliro Comforts Betty Bayo's Children Ahead Of Their Mother's Burial

Veteran gospel singer Gloria Muliro has shared a heartfelt message of condolence following the passing of celebrated gospel musician Betty Bayo, whose burial is scheduled for today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at her Mugumo home, Kirigiti Road, near Kamiti Corner.

Betty’s family and friends are currently at Kenyatta University Referral Mortuary to collect her body and head to the Ndumberi stadium, where the funeral service will take place.

Taking to her official Instagram account, Muliro said that her heart goes out to Bayo’s children, Sky and Danny, adding that she understands the pain of losing a mother, especially at a young age.

She noted that she also knows the sufficient grace of God that has carried her and her siblings through the years and expressed confidence that God will take care of Bayo’s children.

“My heart goes out to Sky and Danny. I know the pain of losing a mother, especially at a tender age, and I also know the sufficient grace of God that has carried us as siblings through the years. He will surely take care of Betty’s children. Rest in eternal peace, Betty Bayo. Your legacy lives on,” she posted.

Gospel artiste Shiru wa GP revealed that the late singer’s funeral service will be held at the Ndumberi stadium on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Speaking during a phone interview with Kameme FM presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba, popularly known as Baby Top, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, the ‘Mucamo’ hitmaker said the family and the burial committee had finalised key plans for the service and how guests would be hosted.

“We have planned all things about how we will lay her to rest, and we will all go to the stadium for the burial. That is where we will have the burial service, and that is the same place where people who will attend the burial will eat from,” Shiru said.

“From there, family and close friends will proceed to bury the body at Mugumo, Kirigiti Road, near Kamiti Corner. That is where she will be buried, but all the people will be at the stadium. The body will be retrieved from the KU Referral Mortuary, and the burial is on Thursday next week. The memorial and candle lighting will be on Sunday,” she revealed.
