"Focused on doing my job and being the best" Kamene Goro

Veteran media personality and radio host Kamene Goro has finally broken the silence following the consecutive departure of multiple of her colleagues from NRG radio in just weeks.

Kamene addressed the issue during a recent Q&A session she had with her followers on Instagram after a curious netizen sought to find out how the workplace was for the journalist after such massive changes, considering she was fairly new in the company.

Within this last quarter, heavy names in the radio space such as King Kalala, Natalie Githinji, and Shaq the Yungin have all exited from the radio station noting they just needed something new in their lives.

Interestingly, neither one of them till now has announced if they have found new jobs or if they will be moving to a different media house.

Besides those 3, earlier on in the year, Mwalimu Rachel and veteran entertainer Xclusive also departed from NRG and then proceeded to join Radio Africa Group's Kiss 100.

Azeezah Hashim also left the media house, albeit in late 2023.

"It must be hard to lose most of your co-workers who you were vybing with. How do you deal with it," the question sticker shared by Kamene read

Responding to the inquiry the influencer gave a vague answer as she refrained from actually addressing her former colleagues' departures. Kamene pointed out she was fully focused on her career and simply just excelling in all she did.

"Everything happens for a reason, I'm just focusing on doing my job and being the best at it," her response read.

Before joining NRG, Kamene hosted the Kiss 100 morning breakfast show alongside now Lang'ata Member of Parliament Jalang'o who was later on replaced by budding musician and digital content creator Oga Obinna after he left to pursue a career in politics.
