Florence Wanjiku has opened up on her romantic affair with Elias Njeru, the man accused of stabbing her 18 times a few weeks ago.

Florence revealed that she was romantically involved with the businessman, fully aware he was married. She confirmed she contacted his wife earlier this year to inform her about their relationship.

In a tell-all interview on Kogi's Corner channel, she revealed that she and Elias were initially business partners, and their romantic affair only started after the birth of their child. "It just happened, and yes, I know he was married. I remember there was a time we held a meeting at his marital home, though his wife did not join us. I was not expecting to be involved with him romantically. Our situation was funny because our child came first before we fell in love. We just found ourselves," she said.

Florence said that after her child was born, she and Elias decided it was best that she move to Nakuru from Nairobi so that they could keep their affair a secret.

"His wife knows about us. I didn't call her, but I did send my child's birth certificate to her early this year to let her know. I then blocked her immediately, but we only came to talk much later," she added.

"There was a day he (Elias) texted me on WhatsApp, saying he knew about my relationship. He said his close sources told him I have a man in the US. I was not lying about it," she said.
