Kenyan Youtuber Mungai Eve has revealed being fired by her now ex-boyfriend Director Trevor caught her off guard.

The influencer says although things were a bit rocky at the end of the relationship, being left jobless did not cross her mind.

This she revealed during an interview with Commentator 254.

"I checked out of the relations in November 2022, you only knew about it in January/February 2024. That is when I was fired. The being fired caught me off guard. I was in Zanzibar for a vacation." I knew something would happen (breakup) because in a relationship you know who is the emotional one."

She reacted to Trevor finding a replacement for her on the YouTube channel they previously co-owned "I am irreplaceable.

" Trevor made it known that he was rebranding the “Mungai Eve” YouTube channel to “Kenya Online Media” as Mungai’s services are no longer needed on the platform early this year (2024)

The channel had over 750K subscribers with over 2353 videos uploaded so far after being founded on January 2, 2020.

“Will you be working with Eve? A fan asked

 Trevor replied; 

“No Her services are No longer needed in the following platforms, YouTube 754K subscribers, Insta Fame 104K subscribers, and Facebook 874K followers,”.

At the same time, Trevor mentioned that he was rebranding the “Mungai Eve” Facebook page which has over 104K followers to Kenya Online Media. Another channel that Trevor has taken over is Insta-Fame that had over 104 subscribers on YouTube,

The new changes confirmed their breakup following months of speculations. The two were not only content creators but also had a romantic relationship.

Mungai Eve and Director Trevor were a force to be reckoned with, combining innovation with accessible content that appealed to a broad audience.
