Elegeyo Marakwet: Man on the run after killing his brother

Police are searching for a man suspected of attacking his brother with an arrow and a machete, killing him on the spot.
According to police in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County the suspect was embroiled in a dispute with the late brother.
Further reports indicate that the two then met and decided to bury the hatchet following a quarrel in the recent past in Kaben location.
Their mother, Kimoi Somokwony Suter, was present at the said meeting at their home in Marich, located in Boroko village where the two brothers are said to have resolved the matter.
However, 33-year-old Elkana Kiprono Kisang is said to have lured his brother to the nearby shopping center and attacked him.
His 35-year-old brother Edward Kiptarus Kisang, now deceased, sustained injuries on the neck and the right side of the chest.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Tot Hospital mortuary as detectives pursue the suspect.
