Budding businesswoman and media influencer Edday Nderitu has voiced her support for Bonfire Adventures managing director Sarah Kabu following her dramatic and much publicized split from her husband Simon Kabu.
Through her socials the mother of 3 urged her fans and netizens within Nairobi to show up in support of Sarah's upcoming end of year party aimed at celebrating her newly formed non-governmental organization which she started to support women going through tough hurdles in their marriages dubbed, Virtuous Woman Foundation.
Edday shared a video of the tours and travel founder inviting ladies to come through to the purple themes event as she went to visit the night's allocated guest speaker on her Instagram feed.
Captioning the post she wrote, "Ladies, it’s time to celebrate a year of grace, resilience, and purpose! Join us for a night dedicated to honouring virtuous women who embody strength, faith, and excellence."
Earlier today Sarah announced she'll be dropping her last name which she picked up after she and Simon Kabu wedded 15 years ago.
According to the mother of 2 she will be reverting to her maiden name now going as, Sarah Njoki Nyaga.
"Guys, I'm rebranding my name. I will now be known as Sarah Mtalii," the entrepreneur shared in a video posted on her socials.
Adding, "My official name is Sarah Njoki Nyaga. I will no longer be using the name Sarah Kabu. So from today, when you are referring to me, I want you to use Sara Mtalii, my brand name, online. I want to thank my fans for your overwhelming support. I know you didn't know what I was going through. I opened the foundation to encourage you since I know sometimes that journey is not easy."
Besides announcing the name change Sarah's lawyers sent a letter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) detailing details of an ongoing divorce case between the two partners at Kiambu Magistrate Courts.
Part of the letter also showed gag orders prohibiting Kabu from commenting on their kids and the case. Finishing up, Sarah shared that she was open to finding love once again.
Stating, "Right now, I am not well enough to get back to the dating pool, but I know one day I will, and I will get into marriage one day.
I know marriage is not easy, but it's something that is ordained by God, and I will still support young women to stay in marriage."
