Rumours that Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu were no longer together have been denied. Prior to their performance on Saturday, the two were at a pre-party event held in Iringa, Tanzania on Friday.

Diamond called Zuchu on stage after cutting a cake, and he fed the WCB female signee with his tongue. They were cheered on by event attendees.

Zuchu recently answered a question from a fan about how she felt when Kenyan artist Tanasha Donna sent pricey gifts to Mama Diamond Platnumz. "Sio Bwanangu," responded Zuchu.

She added that she had been single for a while now, "Been single for some time now. So he is free to do whatever he wants."

Fans believed they had split up after she confirmed it, yet the couple still makes public displays of affection.

Mama Diamond recently pleaded with supporters not to compare her to Zuchu. Mama Diamond claimed that she thought her grandson, not Tanasha, was the source of the gifts.

Asked if she had unfollowed Zuchu, she said, "Nishazoea mwanangu. Sijamuaunfollow. Sasa nimu-unfollow kwa lipi? Wambea wa Insta wasiniletee mambo ya kitoto ya kizamani. Siko kwenye level hizo, mambo yangu ni ya kiutu uzima."

Adding, "Wasinigombanishe na mwanangu Zuchu. Wote wanangu jamani, wasiniingize kwenye mambo yao."
