Diamond Platnumz’s Shameful Admission About Dating Zuchu

Diamond Platnumz’s Shameful Admission About Dating Zuchu

Days after Zuchu threatened to sue Diamond Platnumz's company, he denied they were lovers. To make matters worse, he boasted about his freedom to have multiple women.

While attempting to flirt with fellow Young, Famous & African guest Fantana, Diamond insisted Zuchu was just an employee.

"I don't know if she is your artiste or your girlfriend. What is it?" Fantana questioned.

To this, Diamond responded, "She is my artiste. You mean Zuchu, right? She's my artiste," Diamond claimed.

"Yeah, it starts with a Z. Yes," Fantana said.

Diamond, who has had at least four public relationships, shared:

"Of course, I can't tell her of the girls I'm seeing. I'd be stupid to do that. Sometimes, ladies, you need to give them sweet words. You can't tell them the truth. If you tell them the truth, you will never make them like you more," he stated.

This revelation came during an episode of Young, Famous & African.

Zuchu responded by threatening to sue Wasafi Media presenters, accusing them of intentionally humiliating her.

Given the timing, some speculate this might be a publicity stunt to promote Diamond’s appearance in the latest season of Young, Famous & African.

The Controversy

The drama started during the Mashamsham radio show, where host Juma Lokole asked Diamond's brother, Ricardo Momo, if Diamond was genuinely interested in marrying Zuchu.

Lokole even hinted that Zuchu appeared desperate to marry Diamond, who seemed indifferent. Angered by these comments, Zuchu took to Instagram to vent:

"Let me set the record straight. I have no interest in marrying Nasibu [Diamond], and I am not forcing him into it. It’s time you all find something else to discuss. He’s not obligated to be with me, and I’ve never held him at gunpoint or forced him into anything," Zuchu lashed out.

She emphasized Diamond’s freedom to date whoever he wanted and accused the presenters of smearing her reputation for attention.

"Diamond can go wherever he feels happy. It seems like you’ve all made it your new job to drag my name through the mud for attention," she fumed.

In what she described as an open letter, Zuchu criticized the media for constantly bringing her up, even when she hadn’t done anything newsworthy.

"Every time Nasibu is seen with a woman, the entire world stops working and starts attacking me. Every institution, every show, every segment—on birthdays or any other day—you always find a way to drag my name into it," she lamented.

Zuchu concluded her rant by challenging her critics:

"If you think clinging to Diamond is as simple as you make it sound, tell whoever you have in mind to go cling to him, and let’s see how that works out," she concluded.
