Comedian Akuku Danger has disclosed that he has been hospitalised due to another health scare, leaving fans concerned about his well-being.
The comedian, who has been living with sickle cell anemia, shared his experience and the challenges of battling the disease.
"These past few weeks, God has really come through for me. Sickle Cell is a monster, man ?," he shared, expressing gratitude for the support he has received.
He posted a hospital selfie on his Instagram account to provide insight into his current situation. "One minute you're going about your business and working hard to chase this bag, and the next minute you're fighting for your life in the hospital."
He clarified that his post was not seeking sympathy but intended to inspire other sickle cell warriors, emphasizing their strength.
"For all the sickle cell warriors out there who are looking for inspiration – yes, you are all stronger than you think!! ❤️❤️ We are back now, all good, and out of the hospital. Tuendelee na Kazi."
The comedian also spoke about symptoms that may indicate a sickle cell crisis, including breathing problems, extreme tiredness, headache or dizziness, painful erections in males, weakness or difficulty moving body parts, and yellowish skin color (jaundice).
Sadly, Akuku Danger lost his sister, Brianah Ojowi, to sickle cell anemia in July of last year. The family laid her to rest on August 14th.
