Digital content creator and budding actress Carrol 'Sonie' Muthoni has finally addressed Ruth K's public statement expressing a desire to work together and for their children to get to know one another.

Ruth, who is married to Sonie's ex-boyfriend and manager, Mulamwah, shares a son with him, while Mulamwah and Sonie have a daughter, born just months before their high-profile breakup.

In a previous YouTube video, Ruth appeared with her partner, Mulamwah, and openly shared her hopes for a blended family. She stated, “It’s my wish for Kalamz to play with Keilah and have that bond. I’ll make the effort for us to all come together as a family.”

During a guest appearance on Commentator 254's YouTube channel, Sonie revealed that many fans had sent her the video clip, though she didn’t pay much attention to it.

Responding to Ruth's comments, Sonie gave a subtle response, suggesting that people often associate themselves with good things, sometimes for self-serving reasons.

“I received many links to the video. In every situation, you give glory and honor to God because, first of all, some things don’t need to be talked about. A rotten thing is never discussed, but when you see a good fruit, you want it. Can you talk about a rotten egg? But when you see a strawberry, you always want to mention nice things,” the actress remarked.

In Ruth’s video, she aimed to clear her name, dispelling rumors that she had backstabbed Sonie or "stolen her man," clarifying that they had never been friends.

"Sonie and I have never met, and we’ve never been in school together,” Ruth explained, also admitting that she faced significant challenges after Mulamwah made their relationship public.

“The first time he posted me, things were not easy for me, and they still aren’t,” she shared.
