Musician Peter Mwangi, alias Miracle Baby and his recent ex-girlfriend Carol Katrue are back together. 

In a statement, the singer expressed his utmost gratitude to his mother-in-law saying her efforts have led to their reunion. 

He praised her as the best mother-in-law saying her decision to dialogue with them made them realise the importance of their relationship and how to navigate tough times in relationships. 

“Mum I wanna take this opportunity to let you know that you are the best mother in law mwenye najua ana exist kwanza his generation. God bless you kwanza kutuongelesha na maana sitawai sahau maishani mwangu…umefanya nikaelewa that is sisi tu pekee hupitia mambo in all marriages lazima zikue na ups and down na jus Pia sis ni binadamu lazima ingetupata,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you once again na you will remain to be my mother-in-law forever coz I will always love and protect your daughter Carol Katrue kwanza situation any. Zidi kutuombea coz ukituachilia nauku inje nikitucheka tu wakati kuna shida you are the best marriage counselor. Mungu akuongezee masiku huku duniani, amen and amen,” he added.

The latest comes barely a week after the two announced that they had broken up. 

In separate social media posts, the two acknowledged the end of their relationship and made it clear that they were no longer affiliated with one another personally or professionally. 

“For anyone who was calling me to book for Carol Katrue we are no longer together!!! Thank You,” Miracle Baby wrote on Instagram.

“Single!!! For bookings dm me kindly am not working with anyone or under anyone,” Carol Katrue wrote. 

The two had dated for three years and share one child. 

Prior to their split, Katrue had stated that she would be open to having additional children with the singer in order to support him in realizing his goal of having at least 17 children.

“Ntakuzalia mpaka washangae @petermiraclebaby,” Katrue wrote in a June 2023 Instagram post.
