'Babygal was a chimney' Kush Tracey's regret about past life

Teresia Wambua, known as Kush Tracey, has emerged as a beacon of hope and transformation, sharing her journey from addiction to salvation.

The former secular singer, who once battled substance abuse, reflects on her past with a powerful message of recovery and faith.

"I was introduced to alcohol, then moved on to smoking weed, cigarettes, and eventually sheesha," Kush Tracey recalls. "I even built up a tolerance for cigars!"

Her candid acknowledgment of her past struggles has resonated with fans, who have praised her journey from addiction to spiritual renewal.

Kush Tracey, who once lived a tumultuous life in the music industry and succumbed to peer pressure by bleaching her skin, now celebrates her newfound sobriety and faith.

"From being high on drugs to being elevated with the Holy Spirit, God made a way where there seemed to be none," she says, stressing that anyone can turn their life around with faith.

Now dedicated to ministry and public speaking, she also runs a non-profit organization focused on mental health and spirituality.

Her remarkable transformation has earned her a nomination as an emerging young leader by the East African Women of Excellence Awards.
