Areas scheduled for power outage on Friday the 7th of June 2024

Kenya Power has notified customers in three counties that it has scheduled electricity supply on Friday to give room for system maintenance.
The planned outage, the company said, will affect parts of Uasin Gishu, Kisii and Kiambu counties.
Customers to be affected in Uasin Gishu are those within Kapseret Lemook.
In a public notice Thursday evening, Kenya Power said power will be switched off from 9.30am to 5pm in Kapseret, Mosombor, Shajna & Quarry, Chinese Quarry and Nilkath Quarry.
It said adjacent customers to the mentioned areas will also be affected.
In Kisii county, areas of concern are those within Nyamataro, Nyakoe and Mosocho.
Among establishments to be affected by the temporary power outage include Nyagena Hospital, Nyabururu Complex and Cardinal Otunga.
Kiamwasi, Nyakoe, Mosocho, Riotoigo, Matieko, part of Runga, Ongicha and adjacent customers will also have to contend without power from 8am to 3pm.
In Kiambu county, Kenya Power has notified residents and business owners within Kiambaa and Waguthu to brace for eight hours without power as from 9am to 5pm.
Customers to be affected are those within Mugomoini, Nduota, Kwahai and those that lie along Waguthu feede road and the adjacent clientele.
Kiamba Boys High School, Karuri County Offices, Waguthu Police Station, Waguthu Water and Gichi Factory will also be without power for the period mentioned.
