Businesswoman and singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has revealed plans to have a fifth wedding.

She stated on Facebook that she wants her sickly father alive so that he can attend her next wedding. 

Akothee revealed this while calling out her siblings for complaining that she took her father to the hospital without their permission. She posted a photo of the father climbing down a plane and being helped by the businesswoman.

She went on to state that she was not apologetic about it and dared them to call her and address her directly.

“If you feel that I have wronged you, please stop making noise in WhatsApp groups, I’m not part of those groups. Take my number and call me, or send the police to arrest me. This outdated and primitive thinking must stop,” she stated.

“This is my father, the man my mother introduced me to, and I don’t need anyone’s consent or approval when it comes to how I choose to care for him,” Akothee added.

She went on to state that the reason why she did not involve them is because the last time she consulted them about putting him on a flight, they refused because he has a heart problem.

The singer held a multimillion wedding in April 2023, marrying her Swiss lover, Denis Schweizer, who was nicknamed ‘Omosh’. The star-studded wedding was the talk of the time for being among the most expensive weddings in East Africa.

Reason behind break up with Omsosh

The two, however, broke up months after their wedding. Akothee stated that this was as result of his partner concealing important information before they tied the knot.

“What made me break up with him is that he didn’t tell me his inner truth that he had health challenges; the fact that he had these mental challenges and hid them from me hurt me,” she stated.

The businesswoman stated that his ex-husband suffered from bipolar disorder.

The mother of five was first married at the age of fourteen years to the father of her three daughters. He, however, broke up with him and met the father of her son, Prince Ojwang.

She also had another son later with a Frenchman. She is currently in a relationship with Nelly Oaks.
