9 Arrested In Kakamega For Engaging In Organized Criminal Activities
Nine suspects have been arrested in Kakamega in connection with organised criminal activities, including damage to property and assault on police officers.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the nine were arrested in an operation in the Bushangala area of Kakamega.
The suspects were nabbed with a slew of weapons including machetes, bows and arrows, and a club.

They have since been placed in lawful custody pending arraignment in court, while the recovered weapons were secured as evidence.
“The National Police Service commends the public for providing crucial information and the officers involved for their swift response, which led to the successful arrests and recovery of items,” says the State security agency in a statement.
“NPS remains steadfast in its commitment to serving and protecting the public.”
