30 Cows! See Hamisa Mobetto's Impressive Dowry
Tanzanian fashion icon Hamisa Mobetto was overcome with emotion on Saturday as her fiancé, footballer Stephane Aziz Ki, paid a dowry of 30 cows in a traditional ceremony.
The Yanga SC striker, who hails from Burkina Faso, delivered the cows using two trucks, signaling that their wedding plans are in full swing.
The dowry was officially presented to the bride’s family by Yanga Club President Hersi Said, who represented Aziz Ki’s family, during a special event held at Gofu Grounds in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam.
The footballer arrived at the event accompanied by several Yanga players, including Pacome Zouzoua, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Yao Kouassi, and the club’s Public Relations Officer, Ali Kamwe.
On her part, Hamisa Mobetto arrived with her manager, Paul Mangoma, and was preceded by 15 bridesmaids dressed in special attire.
During the ceremony, Hamisa expressed her gratitude to God for bringing her a partner she believes is the right one for her. She declared that she is now officially engaged to someone she deeply loves.
“This is where I’ve reached, having found someone with genuine love for me. Our souls are in harmony. I pray to God to guide us as we move forward with our plans,” Hamisa told Mwanaspoti.
Aziz Ki, on the other hand, shared his belief that his long search for a wife has finally come to an end, as he has found a woman he truly loves from the bottom of his heart.
“All the engagement procedures have been completed. What remains now is the wedding, which will take place tomorrow, Sunday, February 16, 2025. The official ceremony is scheduled for February 19, 2025, at The SuperDome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam,” Aziz Ki announced.
Hamisa, a mother of two, was visibly emotional throughout the event, a clear sign of her joy and excitement about marrying Aziz.
In one video from the ceremony, the former lover was seen shedding tears of happiness as her two children, Dylan Abdul Naseeb and Fantasy Majizzo, hugged her and Aziz.
Hamisa was also overwhelmed with emotion when her fiancé slipped the engagement ring onto her finger.
