WCB Wasafi artist Zuchu has clapped back at colleagues from the Wasafi empire who questioned whether her boss, Diamond Platnumz, has genuine intentions of marrying her.

For over three years, Diamond and Zuchu have been rumoured to be romantically involved, despite their professional relationship as boss and artist.

Recently, Zuchu's frustrations boiled over after Wasafi presenters discussed her and Diamond's potential marriage on air.

The controversy began during the Mashamsham radio show when host Juma Lokole asked Diamond's brother, Ricardo Momo, whether Diamond was truly interested in marrying Zuchu.

Lokole even suggested that Zuchu seemed desperate to marry Diamond, while Diamond himself appeared indifferent.

Zuchu, visibly irked by these remarks, took to Instagram to vent her anger. She declared that she had no interest in forcing Diamond into marriage and dismissed any claims that she was pressuring him.

"Let me set the record straight. I have no interest in marrying Nasibu [Diamond], and I am not forcing him into it. It’s time you all find something else to discuss. He’s not obligated to be with me, and I’ve never held him at gunpoint or forced him into anything," Zuchu lashed out.

She stressed that Diamond has every right to be with whomever he chooses, accusing the presenters of abandoning their duties in favour of tarnishing her reputation to gain comments and likes.

"Diamond can go wherever he feels happy. It seems like you’ve all made it your new job to drag my name through the mud for attention," she fumed.

In what she described as an open letter, Zuchu criticized the presenters for constantly finding reasons to talk about her, even when she hasn’t done anything newsworthy.

"Every time Nasibu is seen with a woman, the entire world stops working and starts attacking me. Every institution, every show, every segment—on birthdays or any other day—you always find a way to drag my name into it," she lamented.

Zuchu ended her rant by challenging those criticizing her to bring forward the woman they believe is more suitable for Diamond if they think it's that easy.

"If you think clinging to Diamond is as simple as you make it sound, tell whoever you have in mind to go cling to him, and let’s see how that works out," she concluded.

She further advised Wasafi presenters to respect boundaries between her private life and their work, firmly stating that they don’t have any control over her.

Zuchu also issued a stern warning, threatening to take legal action against Wasafi if they continued to poke into her relationship with Diamond.

"Advise [Diamond] to leave me, and you’ll see that I won’t chase after him with explosives. You fools better draw the line. Stop acting like you have control over me. This time, I’m ready to take someone to court," Zuchu said in closing.
