Vihiga: Police launch investigations after the disappearance of a PAG church pastor

Police have launched investigations after an alleged disappearance of a Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Church Pastor, suspected to have been abducted from his home on Sunday night in Viyalo area, Sabatia Constituency in Vihiga County.

According to his family, Pastor Ben Omollo who was expected to deliver a sermon on Sunday October 27, 2024, went missing early morning on Sunday after he got out of his house for a short call and never returned.

The puzzling disappearance of Ben Omollo, a Pastor at Evojo PAG church in Sabatia Constituency in Vihiga has left many scratching their heads.

According to Nancy Omollo who is the Pastor’s wife, on Sunday at 3:00 am her husband got outside their house for a call of nature.

However, he never returned to the house, and only his sandals were later discovered scattered on the road nearby.

Efforts by his family to find him have not borne any fruit. The Pastor’s family says that Ben Omollo did not show any signs of fear or distress before his disappearance.

“When he went out for a short call, his wife came to my house and told me her husband has not returned to the house.

“We started searching for him, then we found one of his slippers at the gate, then another one along the road,” said the pastor’s mother.

Sabatia Sub-County police boss Patrick Gogo confirmed the incident, while officers at Kilingili Police Station are already investigating the alleged disappearance.

Congregants at Evojo PAG church are also calling for a quick probe to help find their Pastor
