Nakuru: Assistant chief arrested for defiling a 4-yr-old girl

Police in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County, have arrested a 42-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old girl.

Kabianga Sub-Location Assistant Chief Douglas Koech Kipkemoi was nabbed after the minor reported the incident to her parents who then filed a report with the police.

According to a Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) report, the girl complained to her parents that she had been experiencing pain while passing urine.

Upon further prodding, the minor revealed that she had been defiled by the administrator, prompting her parents to take her to hospital for checkup first before reporting the perpetrator leading to his arrest.

“The arrest followed a harrowing report from the parents of a 4-year-old minor who had complained of severe pain while passing urine prompting her parents to investigate further,” the DCI stated.

“To their horror, she revealed that she had been defiled by the suspect prompting the parents to immediately take her to Londiani Sub-County Hospital for medical examination and treatment.”

The suspect has since been arraigned and is presently remanded at the Milimani GK Prison in Nakuru awaiting the mentioning of the case on Thursday.
