Content creator and makeup artiste Michelle Ngoje is married to her loving husband Ian.

Michelle is the sister to Diana Marua.

Michelle describes herself as an artist who is passionate about bringing you professional and engaging content that revolves around the world of beauty and self-expression through makeup.

As a mother to four children, Michelle knows very well the struggles of parenting.

On her youtube channel, she lets fans into her world and recently with Ian, shared some of the things they wish they knew before becoming parents.

Ian began by explaining that,

“Each child is parented differently and for someone with twins, who are 8 years old then you have been a parent for 16 years. The experience for 8 years in on one child and the other 8 is on the other child. So you have done 16 years within 8 years.”

Michelle also shared that as a parent you have to be okay with learning from other people.

She recalled an instance where she had to be corrected on her parenting skills towards a specific child.

“One of my family members came over a certain time and she mentioned about my parenting with a specific child that I had not seen at all. She told me that for that child I was not doing xyz the way I did for the previous kids. Basically you never stop learning from families and also friends.”

Another thing the couple talked about was allowing your kids to experience their emotions and go through the process of it.

“Allow them to pass through that stage of life because they have never been there before. I also feel like there should be a healthy space for boys to express their feelings. Don’t bring up boys by telling them that they should not cry, bring them up to be a healthy version of themselves.”

Ian also added that he indoctrinates his kids in the truth. Teach your children to declare in their lives." eh shared tidbits

Adding

"As a parent also you have to learn that there are good days and bad days and also you have to learn to be patient because you have to keep on teaching and repeating the same thing to our kids until they get to understand that certain thing. "

Michelle also advised parents to give kids answers that they deserve at their age because kids as they grow they become more curious.
