Kenyan singer Iyanni has opened up about his romantic life and the financial side of it, revealing that he gives his girlfriend, Shes Kemunto, between Ksh150,000 and Ksh200,000 a month as an allowance.

In an interview, the singer opened up about how he manages his relationship finances, saying that the amount he gives depends on his partner’s needs and the circumstances at the time.

“I give my girlfriend an allowance; ina depend,” Iyanni said. “Kuna time mahitaji ziko juu, kuna time atakuambia she doesn’t need a lot. So inaendaga ikivary range ni 150gs to 200K a month.”

Iyanii’s revelation comes a month after he publicly introduced his girlfriend, content creator Shes Kemunto, during a live performance.

The Donjo Maber hitmaker, who often keeps his love life private, surprised fans when he paused mid-performance to invite her on stage, declaring, “I didn’t come here alone; I came with my lover this season.”
