The thawing relationship between Akothee and her siblings is becoming clearer.
They no longer even greet each other, according to her latest confession online.
The singer-cum-philanthropist shared what life has been like since cutting off any communication with her siblings.
The entertainer and her sister Cebbie Koks are the most popular online and the two are no longer on speaking terms.
Akothee in a video on Wed Jan 24 night, declared she no longer misses them.
"Whatever I saw with my family in 2022 towards December I wouldn't want anybody to go through that" she recounted.
She was referring to her state of mind when she was in a relationship that has since ended.
"I was vulnerable I felt alone. That is the worst feeling in a world full of people. That is the worst feeling any human being should have. Especially after you have supported almost everyone. It hurts. And by the way, I can tell you very bodily, I did have a big barrier between me and my siblings."
Adding;
"I dont miss them because I dont miss trouble"
She also indicated it was not clear who among them was toxic
"Maybe I was the toxic one, which is okay. When you are toxic when you draw a boundary then there is no...you understand me" She used her hands to indicate a tug of war.
"I dont miss either of them. I dont know them, fine when we meet at my parent's place, we share the same father and mother. We are relatives by blood, but the relationship and the friendship are no longer there. You only vibe with people who vibe with you" she continued to share.
The mother of five has forgiven her siblings and set boundaries
"I forgave everyone but...*using her hand to draw a line* with respect. We are not friends, We dont vibe. The vibe is gone because I am afraid of being hurt again"
They don't even greet each other, even in public to protect themselves
"Why do we have to? If I greet them, I will succumb to the trap again. I will even meet them in public and pass them. What I went through was not worth it, was too much"
She is now peaceful and unbothered
"What I went through, they scattered me naked, threw me on social media with lies, how do you expect me to vibe with such people? We share the blood, the bond, we share mum and dad but we are not friends. It is ok,".
