Mapenzi: Diamond Platnumz Gushes as Zuchu Welcomes Him Home While Dancing in Dera
Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz has melted hearts online after sharing a video of his wife, singer Zuchu, dancing joyfully in a colourful dera as she welcomed him home.
The video, posted on his Instagram page on Friday, October 10, 2025, captured Zuchu’s cheerful mood as she entertained Diamond, who was in their driveway trying to pack his car.
He asked his followers to imagine being in his shoes, after all that hustling and travelling, to be welcomed home like that.
He went on to joke about how irresistible Zuchu looked, humorously wondering who could walk away from such a woman. Diamond went ahead to shower praises on Zanzibari women, noting how special they truly are.
“Hebu vaa viatu vyangu, hapo mwenyewe nimejirudia zangu mihangaikoni napokelewa kwa Madegezyee hayo, ata kama wewe unaachaje kuoza, na Utoke hapo Uende kwa #Nani asa?? Hawa watoto wa Kizanzibari Hawafai kabisa,” Diamond captioned the video.
Loosely translated as;
“Put yourself in my shoes, I’ve been out there hustling, and now I’m being welcomed home like this at the Madegezyes! Even you, how could you not melt? And then, who else would you even go to after that? These Zanzibari kids are something else,” Diamond said.

This comes days after Diamond Platnumz dismissed rumours that he had married another wife. The singer addressed the claims on Instagram on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, after reports surfaced that he had secretly added a new woman to his family.

“Naona kuna misumari inapigiliwa kuwa SIMBA kaongeza mke, hapana jamani sijaongeza, msinipe ujasiri nsiokua nao,” he said.
The musician also spoke about a video circulating online showing him in a car with a woman, clarifying that it was not proof of a secret relationship but part of an upcoming music project. He explained that the clip was from his professional work and would be released soon.
Diamond added that he is currently focused on happiness and his music, not conflicts or drama.
“Huu mwezi ni wa raha na burudani tu, mambo ya ugomvi na wife aku mie staki,” he said.
