Legendary Tanzanian rapper Professor Jay has warned those wishing death on him. This comes a day after fake news of his death was seen on social media.
Speaking to Wasafi Media, the former member of parliament for Mikumi said;
"I was also shocked by the news as well. I have received calls in the country and internationally, from people very shocked by the fake news. I am well and healthy and thank God I am doing well."
He went on to say that he is so well that he doesn't even have a flu "I want to tell people to ignore these reports."
He said this is not the first time this has happened "It is a very bad thing to wish someone death and I have sang this on one of my songs called 'Kipi Sijaskia.' This kind of fake news gives heartbreaks to families."
He said he is following up to see where the news came from to take legal action against them.
The rapper said he is busy preparing for his upcoming projects.
