The fiery fallout between Tanzanian music stars Harmonize and Ibraah just took a wild new turn Harmonize now says not only does he not need Ibraah, but he is also willing to chip in for the controversial billion-shilling exit fee.
The drama began when Ibraah publicly claimed he was being slapped with a jaw-dropping TSh1 billion (around Sh48 million) fee to exit Konde Music Worldwide aka Konde Gang, the label founded by Harmonize himself.
The revelation sent shockwaves through the showbiz scene, with Ibraah launching a public fundraiser, calling on friends, fans, and family to help buy his freedom from the contract.
But Harmonize, who had initially stayed quiet, has finally broken his silence and he did not hold back.

But Harmonize, who had initially stayed quiet, has finally broken his silence and he did not hold back.
Taking to Instagram, the Konde Gang boss dropped a bombshell:
"You think I didn't invest in your career? I did what I could. It's shocking that you're out here saying I have no character after everything. Since you've decided to air this publicly, let the world know the truth you owe the label, and you have to pay.
I don’t need you anymore. I’ll even help you trend so people know the real story—but that debt has to be cleared. I paid mine, and now it’s your turn.”
Harmonize would go on to state that he would be part of those contributing to raise the amount, pledging Tsh100,000.
The jab stings all the more considering Harmonize went through a similar storm a few years ago when he fought to leave Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi Classic label, a battle that reportedly also came with a hefty price tag.
“It happened to me too, but I worked hard to pay the money, so I understand hi, these labels are businesses just like any other business,” he posted on his socials.
The Konde Gang founder had to pay a hefty TSh 600 million (Sh26.8 million) to exit Diamond Platnumz’s WCB Wasafi label, which had been instrumental in launching his career.
Harmonize was only four years into a 15-year contract when he chose to leave and go solo, a decision that cost him dearly but gave him freedom.
