Gospel Singer Mary Lincoln Calls Out Haters Who She Claims Are Holding Meetings To Destabilize Her Church Ministry

Gospel singer and Priesthood Fellowship Church Ruiru head pastor, Evangelist Mary Lincoln, has lashed out at a section of Kenyans whom she claims are holding secret meetings aimed at destabilising her rapidly growing ministry.

Speaking a day before commencing a weekly prayer rally with Kamutiini’s Bishop Mwangi Zakayo on Monday, November 3, 2025, the preacher expressed concern over the content and intent of discussions taking place in these clandestine gatherings.

“You all don’t know where I met with God. All those holding small, secretive meetings in a bid to topple my church. Know that this church is not mine. This is God’s church, the pulpit is not mine, as Mary. It belongs to God. Those meetings are the ones I am addressing,” she said.

Mary revealed that intelligence reaching her indicated that the meetings are being held even in hotels, where participants plan elaborate strategies to challenge or topple her ministry.

She emphasised that these gatherings are conducted without the knowledge of her congregation and often continue late into the night, with some attendees being escorted home by colleagues after such sessions.

“You all do not know where God got me from so I can come to serve Him. And I am very serious: if you joke with this holy sanctuary, it will end you. Those meetings are being held in hotels, and sometimes you arrive so late there discussing my church that some of your colleagues have to escort you home,” Mary added.

The evangelist stressed that the church and pulpit are not her personal property but belong to God, reinforcing that attempts to destabilise or control the sanctuary would be futile.

She pointed to her long-standing dedication to God’s work, noting that she had previously served as a brand ambassador but had relinquished the position to focus fully on her spiritual calling and the growth of her ministry.

“If a church belongs to a person, then you can destroy that one, but God’s, you cannot. I know there are meetings being held to backbite. Please know this sanctuary is not mine. It is God who sent me here. I want you with God,” she said.

Mary then insisted that any attempts to challenge the church’s mission or authority would not succeed, stressing that the spiritual foundation of her ministry is divinely ordained and protected.

“Know this sanctuary is God’s. You were not there when this sanctuary was sanctified. For the longest time, I was a brand ambassador, but I had to drop that job because of God,” she said.

The development comes just six months after the singer was commissioned as the new bishop of the Priesthood Fellowship Church, Ruiru branch.

During that time, Mary celebrated the milestone with a solemn commissioning ceremony blessed by His Grace Bishop Mwangi Zakayo.

At the event, she was seated at the pulpit as Bishop Zakayo and other church leaders laid hands on her in prayer, conferring spiritual guidance and blessing the new branch.

In one notable moment, the bishop knelt before her, symbolically placing his hand on her head.

She then shared about the event on Facebook, calling the commissioning both an honour and a divine opportunity to extend the kingdom of God.

“I want to sincerely thank you, my father in the Lord, Bishop Mwangi Zakayo for the great honour and privilege of commissioning me to open a new branch of the ministry at Ruiru. Your trust, prayers, and leadership have been a guiding light in my journey,” she wrote.

She emphasised her commitment to advancing the ministry with diligence, humility, and faithfulness to the vision entrusted to her.

“This assignment is not just a responsibility; it is a divine opportunity to extend the kingdom of God under your covering and with your blessing. I do not take it lightly. Thank you for believing in the calling of God upon my life and for releasing me with your full support. I am committed to upholding the vision and advancing the gospel with diligence, humility, and power. May God continue to bless you and enlarge your influence. I remain ever grateful,” she said
